Update #2 : 21/03/2020

As it stands the intention is for the squad to continue training. The following changes to swimming times will come in to force from Monday;
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Penguins / Seal: 4 - 5 pm
Sharks / Orcas: 5.30 - 7 pm

Tuesday
Sharks / Orcas: 6.30 - 8 pm
Morning training will remain unchanged, with the exception that swimmers are requested to leave once the session is finished - breakfast club will no longer be available.

The pool has given the club an allocation of 40 people at any one time, so Swimmers are requested to leave the pool promptly following their session and not enter before their session. The 30 minute gap between sessions is to allow for a smooth cross over. Spectators are requested to not enter the pool at any time to allow us to keep within the allocation.

Swimmers are requested to not attend if they are unwell, have recently been in contact with someone who is unwell or has been abroad; or have been abroad themselves.

In the meantime do continue to follow the guidelines on social distancing and hygiene; look after your own mental well-being and try to think of others at this concerning time.

Update: 21/03/2020

At this point in time the club will follow the official government/MOH guidance on public gatherings, events and group sizes.

Our primary communications channels shall be the website and email. Where possible, messages shall be replicated to the Facebook pages too.

We will work with the coach to determine an appropriate plan to allow swimmers to maintain some form of training in the event that the pool should be closed and will advise as and when this is place. In the meantime swimmers are free to choose if they wish to attend training or not.

Note: This is an evolving plan, so please keep referring back to this page for updates. In the meantime do continue to follow the guidelines on social distancing and hygiene; look after your own mental well-being and try to think of others at this concerning time.
